Nicole Weber and Sharon Lechter appear on a video call discussing entrepreneurship and financial literacy

Nug founder Nicole Weber was recently invited to participate in a renowned podcast entitled The Play Big Movement hosted by Sharon Lechter. In each episode, she interviews people who are the best in their field: experts, entrepreneurs, business owners, authors, creatives, and all-around successes. The podcast reveals how each extraordinary guest played big to get to the top, what they had to overcome to get there, and their advice, tips and strategies for you to become #1 in your field, live your legacy and create maximum impact.

She is a renowned entrepreneur, international speaker, bestselling author, mentor, philanthropist, and a licensed CPA for 35 years as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Recognized as the leading expert in financial literacy and entrepreneurial success, Sharon has spent her career empowering individuals to achieve financial independence.

In 1989, Sharon made a significant impact in the publishing industry by partnering with the inventor of the first electronic ‘talking book,’ expanding this innovation into a multi-million dollar international market. She gained international acclaim in 1997 as the co-author of the bestselling book Rich Dad Poor Dad, and subsequently authored 14 additional books in the Rich Dad series, helping to grow the brand into a leading personal finance empire over her decade as co-founder and CEO.

Responding to a request from the Napoleon Hill Foundation in 2008, Sharon reinvigorated Hill’s teachings during a shaky economic period. She has since published three bestsellers with the foundation, including Think and Grow Rich—Three Feet from Gold, Outwitting the Devil, and Think and Grow Rich for Women in 2014. Sharon’s influence also extends into film, highlighted by her feature in the 2017 documentary Think and Grow Rich: The Legacy, and continues with her book Save Wisely, Spend Happily in collaboration with the American Institute of CPAs.

A trusted mentor, Sharon has collaborated with major entities like Disney and Time Warner and has advised two U.S. Presidents on financial literacy. As the CEO of Pay Your Family First, Sharon’s initiatives focus on creating educational resources that enhance financial IQ and encourage personal and business growth.

However, 2012 marked a year of personal loss for Sharon when her son passed away unexpectedly, causing her to scale back and operate on autopilot. Today, Sharon has re-emerged with renewed vigor, spearheading the Play Big Movement to inspire others to overcome their limitations, manage their finances and time efficiently, and maximize their impact.

Residing in Paradise Valley, AZ with her husband, Michael Lechter, an expert in Intellectual Property and Publishing, Sharon enjoys disconnecting and recharging at their dude ranch, Cherry Creek Lodge. Her commitment to philanthropy continues to make a difference globally, earning her numerous accolades for her contributions to communities worldwide.
